A man accused of manufacturing methamphetamine out of his Batehaven home, located on the state’s south coast, has appeared in court.

Ronald Hayles, 24, faced Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday on charges of manufacturing prohibited drug, drug supply and drug possession.

Pleas are yet to be entered to any of the charges.

Police documents tendered to Batemans Bay Local Court reveal between July and September last year, Hayles was allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine in his Batehaven home, as well as supplying the same drug.

Police also allege Hayles was supplying cocaine and methylamine, an ingredient needed to create methamphetamine.

Along with the manufacture and supply accusations, documents reveal Hayles was allegedly found to be in possession of testosterone.

Hayles was arrested and charged on September 28 following a NSW Police Force investigation into the supply of drugs along the state’s south coast.

In Batemans Bay Local Court on Monday, a Director of Public Prosecutions representative asked for the matter be adjourned by one week to allow paperwork to be finalised.

It was a suggestion Hayles’ lawyer, Brett Ford, did not oppose.

Magistrate Doug Dick granted the adjournment for May 22 and ruled for Hayles’ bail to continue.
