Two men die in separate crashes in Anna Bay, Blacksmiths
There has been a horror start to the weekend with two drivers, a 29-year-old man and a man in his 90s, both dying in separate crashes outside of Newcastle.

Two men have lost their lives in separate crashes in the Hunter region in a tragic start to the weekend.
Emergency services rushed to Robert Connell Cl near Frost Rd in Anna Bay about 3.20pm on Friday after a car struck a telegraph pole.
The driver, the sole occupant of the car, was treated by paramedics however he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified but was believed to be 29 years old.
Sadly, this was not the first fatal crash outside of Newcastle on Friday, with an elderly man dying in a rollover in the Lake Macquarie area.
Police and paramedics were called to the Pacific Hwy at Blacksmiths, south of Newcastle, after a hatchback left the road and crashed into bushland down an embankment.
He died at the scene.
The man is yet to be formally identified but was believed to be in his 90s.
Investigations were continuing into both crashes.
