KEEPER STUNS WITH RECORD
On the first day of round 12 Manly Warringah wicket keeper Lenton scored his third consecutive century with 110 not out in the match against Western Suburbs which didn't even start until 3.10pm.
It is the second time the 30-year-old former Sydney Thunder gun has done this, achieving it first in the 2015 2016 season.
The only other wicketkeeper to score three consecutive centuries was Hammy Love back in 19 29–30.
In previous years at this time Lenton has been with the Sydney Thunder is in the Big Bash League.
But this season, after missing selection in the team, he has been giving his all to Manly Warringah.
“It’s a real team thing this year,” Lenton said.
The wicket keeper said emphasis had been put on thriving during Manly’s time without their BBL guns Steve O’Keefe, Ollie Davies and Jack Edwards and Ollie Davies.
“I wanted to make sure we got over this time in good shape,’’ Lenton said.
“We have tried to improve our depth. put a but more weight on our shoulders.’’
In a big weekend for keepers, Sydney’s Beau McClintock scored his second century of the season and the fourth of his first grade career.
His teammate, Anthony Mosca, scored 67 to go to 867 runs for the season.
Mosca now leads UTS North Sydney is Tom Jagot, who has yet to bat in this round due to the weather, on the run scoring list by 24 runs.
TEENAGER SHINES AS SYDNEY SIZZLES
It was a big day out for Hawkesbury teenager Patrick Moore and teammate Scott Baldwin on the opening day of round 11 of NSW Premier Cricket.
The pair both scored their initial first-grade centuries in their away match against Parramatta.
Young opener Moore, just 19, had scored a century (100*) in second-grade last season but never before in first grade.
In fact, in his 20 first-grade matches and 12 T20 outings, he had only two half-centuries (79, 76 run out) to his name.
That changed when he scored 123 alongside Scott Baldwin.
Baldwin, 124, scored his first century at any level in grade cricket on a sizzling hot Saturday in his 87th match at any level.
Hawkesbury 6-362 (S Baldwin 124 P Moore 123 C Mizzi 24no R Mizzi 22 J Brett 21 H Goulstone 3-79 M Sullivan 2-60), Parramatta at Old Kings Oval.

Williams scored his second century of the season and the sixth of his career.
He put on 185 for the opening stand with Jarryd Biviano whose 88 run out was his sixth half-century of the season. Both players went past 500 runs for the season.
In other notable performances on day one, Matthew Moran (Mosman) finished just two short of his initial first-grade century and Tom Jagot (UTS-North Sydney) fell six short of his fourth century for the season. His 94 took him past 800 runs for the season, to 843 at 70.25, and past 4000 first-grade career runs, to 4040 at 41.22.
Bowler Craig di Blasio (Sydney) claimed his first five wicket haul in first-grade while Ben Joy (Sydney University) took 5-34 to go past 200 wickets and Riley Ayre (Randwick Petersham) took 5-71 in his second career five-wicket performance.

After a long lay-off due to the holiday break and the coronavirus cancellation of cricket prior to Christmas, cricketers were keen to make their mark.
