Nomads member charged after police allegedly find five replica pistols at his Yagoona home

OFFICERS from Strike Force Raptor have arrested a 40-year-old Yagoona member of the Nomads Outlaw Motorcycle Gang on several charges, including aggravated firearms possession and five counts of possess unauthorised pistol.
Investigators from the Criminal Group Squad’s Raptor conducted a conducted a Firearms Prohibition Order search at a home at Yagoona just before 6.30am today. They were assisted by the Public Order and Riot Squad.
During the search, police allegedly seized five replica pistols, a sling shot, ammunition, and prescription medications, which did not have prescriptions.
“A 40-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Bankstown Police Station, where he was charged with aggravated firearms possession, five counts of possess unauthorised pistol, five counts of not keep firearm safely-pistol, possess prohibited weapon without permit, and firearm found at premises-subject to prohibition order,” police said.
“The man, who is a member of the Nomads OMCG, was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court.”
