Police hunt for three men who allegedly assaulted man at his Riverwood home

A RIVERWOOD man was allegedly assaulted at his home on Monday afternoon after three men had forced their way in through the front door, says police. Officers believe it was a targeted attack.

A RIVERWOOD man was allegedly assaulted at his home on Monday afternoon after three men had forced their way in through the front door, according to police.

Police said the 48-year-old man suffered a broken nose, dislocated shoulder and elbow and a fractured arm during the alleged assault.

Police said they believe this was a targeted attack and are asking for public assistance to help them.

Campsie Police Area Command officers are now hunting for three men, who they allege seriously assaulted the 48-year-old man at his Minnesota Ave home.

“About 5.40pm on Monday, a 48-year-old man was at his home address on Minnesota Ave when three men forced their way in through the front door, armed with a baseball bat,” police said.

“The occupant suffered lacerations to his face, a broken nose, a dislocated shoulder and elbow, a fractured arm and lacerations.

“He was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital for further treatment.

“The three men were seen running from the location and getting into a small white vehicle, similar to a Toyota Corolla, that was waiting in Missouri Place.”
