Man charged with cultivating 192 cannabis plants in home
A man will face court today after police seized 192 cannabis plants from a Belmore home.

Police have seized 192 cannabis plants from a Belmore property following an investigation.
In early July, Campsie Proactive Crime Team officers started an investigation into suspected drug cultivation at a home on Adelaide St at Belmore.
About 5.20pm on Tuesday officers from Campsie police and the South West Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad executed a search warrant at the address.
A man, 35, was arrested in the backyard after allegedly attempting to flee.
During a search of the property police seized 192 cannabis plants, transformers, light shades, power boards and light globes.
The man was taken to Campsie Police Station where he was charged with use/consume/waste, electricity without authority, cultivate cannabis — indictable quantity, and possess prohibited drug.
He was also charged with a separate count of cultivate cannabis — indictable quantity, for allegedly being involved in drug cultivation at a Narwee property in 2018.
The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
