Bankstown road rage has woman allegedly scaring motorists, damaging cars
A female motorist has allegedly scared road users during a morning rampage in Bankstown, scratching vehicles with a knife and kicking a mudguard before being stopped.

A woman who allegedly tailgated cars before arming herself with a knife and damaging other vehicles has been arrested and charged.
No one was hurt in the alleged rampage which began about 6.50am on Monday, July 22.
Bankstown Police allege the Liverpool woman, 33, drove her Toyota Echo erratically through the streets of the city, and three times stopped her car to damage other vehicles, causing panic on the roads.
A Bankstown police spokeswoman said the female driver allegedly used a screwdriver to scratch the door of one of the cars.
She then allegedly used a knife to scratch three more vehicles while kicking and punching the mudguard of one of them.
One of the drivers, whose car was allegedly damaged by the woman, followed her and informed the police.
“Police approached her at Rickard Rd, near Meredith St, Bankstown, where she drove off,” the spokeswoman said.
“Police pursued the vehicle which stopped on Carmen St, Bankstown, where police were able to remove the keys from ignition.
“She resisted arrest but no officers were injured.”
The woman was charged with resisting officer in execution of duty, destroying or damaging property, driving recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, police pursuit, not stopping, driving dangerously and armed with the intent to commit indictable offence.
She was refused bail. Her next court date is unknown at this stage.
