Male driver killed after car leaves M5 before hitting tree in southwest Sydney
A man was killed early this morning after his car left the M5 at the Henry Lawson Drive off-ramp, Milperra, went up an embankment and hit a tree.

A MALE driver was killed early this morning after his car left the M5 at the Henry Lawson Drive off-ramp, Milperra, went up an embankment and hit a tree.
Bankstown Police Area Command officers are investigating the accident which occurred just before 2.30am.
Police said the vehicle was travelling east along the M5, when it left the road and went up an embankment, hitting a tree.
“The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a man believed to be aged in his 30s, died at the scene,” a police spokesman said.
“Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command have established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
“A report will be prepared for the coroner.
The M5 Motorway was closed eastbound between Heathcote Rd and Henry Lawson Drive.
