Police search for two on the run after carjacking man, 32, at gunpoint

Campsie Police are investigating a carjacking at Lakemba after two men threatened the vehicle’s owner with a firearm on the street.
About 8.20pm on Monday a man, 32, told police he was outside an address on Garrong Rd, Lakemba, when he was approached by two men and threatened with a firearm.
“The men demanded the keys to the man’s vehicle, a 2016 model silver Toyota Camry with NSW registration EBU 47C,” a Campsie police spokesman said.
“The keys were handed over and one of the men left in the man’s vehicle.
“The other man left in a vehicle described as a red coloured Honda sedan.”
The two men have been described as being Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged 22 to 27 years, thin build, with short black hair and beards.
