Female highway officer allegedly kicked after stopping unlicensed woman driver for speeding
An unlicensed woman driver has been charged with assaulting a female highway patrol officer after being stopped for alleged speeding in the south west Sydney suburb of Padstow.

A woman driver, who allegedly kicked a female officer from the NSW Highway Patrol after being stopped for speeding in Padstow, was also found to be unlicensed.
A Bankstown Police spokeswoman said around 7.20pm on Sunday, July 7, police stopped a vehicle after it was seen to be speeding on Gibson Ave, Padstow.
“The driver of the vehicle was a 24-year-old female from Menai who was unlicensed,” the spokesman said.
“The female became verbally abusive towards police, resisting arrest and kicked a constable
“She was charged with assaulting police officer in execution of duty, never licensed person drive vehicle on road and resisting or hindering police officer in the execution of duty.”

CHESTER HILL/BANKSTOWN: A Chester Hill man has been charged in relation to the alleged sexual and emotional abuse of a woman in Bankstown earlier this year. Bankstown detectives began an investigation after receiving reports a 19-year-old woman had been sexually and emotionally abused by her partner. Following extensive inquiries, detectives arrested a 23-year-old man at a home at Chester Hill about 10.30am on Thursday, July 11.
The man was charged with 16 counts of sexual intercourse without consent, and one count each of sexually touch another person without and incite another to sexually touch without consent. Police will allege the man made threats to harm the woman and her family, and sexually assaulted her on numerous occasions between January and April this year.

BANKSTOWN: A man has been charged with breaking into a truck and a property in Bankstown. Around 8:08am on Saturday, July 6, police said a 36-year-old male from Bankstown had allegedly tried to open a car door on Rickard Rd, Bankstown without success. He then allegedly broke into the rear roller door of a parked truck and stole items from the truck before forcing entry into the basement of a Jacob St, Bankstown address. He was detained and searched by police. He was charged with possess housebreaking implements, enter inclosed land without lawful excuse and larceny. He was granted bail and is due to appear Bankstown Local Court on July 24.
VILLAWOOD: On Thursday, July 4, a 45-year-old inmate at Villawood detention centre was arrested and charged for possessing a taser and firearm barrel. These items were located after a search warrant at his home address in Worrigee, a suburb of Nowra. He was charged with possess a barrel for a firearm unless authorised by licence and possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit.
PANANIA: Around 10:15am on Tuesday, July 9, police searched a 39-year-old male from Panania on Cammarlie St, Panania. “Green vegetable matter and a box containing house breaking implements were located,” police said. The man was charged with possess prohibited drug and possess housebreaking implements. The matter is listed for mention on September 11.
