Drunk woman charged for allegedly scratching partner, resisting arrest
A man has been allegedly attacked at his Bankstown home by his drunk partner, who shouted at police officers when they tried to arrest her.

A woman, who allegedly attacked her partner during a domestic incident in Bankstown, has been charged with hindering police who attended the home.
Bankstown police will allege an intoxicated 52-year-old woman from Malabar attacked her 60-year-old partner, causing bleeding and scratching on his face at a home in Egan St, Bankstown at 5.40pm on Thursday, August 8.
“Police attended and found the woman well intoxicated,” a police spokeswoman said.
“She began thrashing and shouting at police when they attempted to arrest her.”
She has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and resist/hinder police.
IN OTHER NEWS
The man declined medical treatment for his facial wounds while the police officers were not hurt.
The matter is next before Bankstown Local Court on September 5.
