Bankstown man charged over alleged sexual assault of 15-year-old girl

A Bankstown man has been arrested and charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl repeatedly.

Detectives have charged a Bankstown man over the alleged repeated sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl.

The 29-year-old man was arrested today at his home in Bankstown following extensive investigations.

In September 2018, detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad commenced an investigation following reports a 15-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted by a man, not known to her, earlier that month.

The man was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault.

The man was taken to Bankstown police station and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault (victim under age of 16 years) and one count of aggravated indecent assault.

Police will allege in court he sexually assaulted the girl on four occasions at a unit in Bankstown between Sunday, September 3, 2018 and Monday, September 4, 2018.
