A woman accused of possessing an unauthorised firearm after police, investigating drug supply in Sydney’s southwest, executed a search warrant of a Greenacre property has had her charges mentioned in court.
Alsu Gumanova, 48, was arrested earlier this month after detectives raided a house and granny flat on Pelman Ave, Greenacre.
Officers seized a BB gun, homemade taser, flick knife, nearly $20,000 cash, and drugs.
Gumanova was charged with possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm and possessing or using a prohibited weapon without permit.
The charges were mentioned at Bankstown Local Court on Thursday where the matter was adjourned for three weeks. No pleas were entered.
The 48-year-old will remain on bail, with conditions including daily reporting to Liverpool police station and surrendering her passport.
A Russian interpreter has been arranged for her next court date.
