Penrith man Corey Felton, 32, was convicted of using his phone to distribute intimate images without consent at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday.
Felton pleaded guilty to the charge and will also serve a 30-month community corrections order.
In the early hours of April 3 Felton contacted his ex-girlfriend’s former partner of 10 years via Facebook and said he had photographs showing him having sex with the woman.
“I sent him pictures … us having sex, me and (the woman),” he was quoted in the agreed police facts.
Felton had been dating the victim, a woman from Peakhurst, for a few months before they broke up in March this year.
At 1.38pm on April 4 Felton sent several photographs via text to her former partner.
“They contain explicit images of the accused and the victim engaging in sexual intercourse,” the agreed police facts said.
The woman’s former partner immediately contacted her and she reported Felton to Hurstville police an hour later.
Felton made full admissions to the crime.
The young father is a keen bodybuilder and a passionate Manchester United football fan.
