A Sydney teen who was banned from seeing her ex-boyfriend due to an apprehended domestic violence order wound up in his bed at 4am before his mother dragged her out by her hair.

Lily Moody, 18, was subject to a court-ordered AVO to protect her ex-boyfriend which prevented her from seeing him, contacting him or going within 100m of his home or workplace.

On September 20 – only weeks after the order was finalised – Moody was in her ex-boyfriend’s bed at his Caringbah home, where she was busted by his mother at 4.30am.

“The victim’s mother heard Moody’s voice and, knowing there was an AVO restricting her from the address, messaged her son asking him to make Moody leave,” agreed police facts state.

“She then came downstairs and went into the bedroom to find Moody and her son in bed together.”

Police say Moody repeatedly ignored demands to leave and instead stood on the bed, demanded an Uber, and yelled at her ex’s mother.

“His mother had to resort to reasonable physical force to try and get Moody to leave and grabbed her by the hair as an attempt to get her out of the bed and out of the bedroom,” agreed police facts state.

“Moody and the victim then both walked out of the house and got into an Uber to an unknown location.”

She returns to court in November.

Moody pleaded guilty to contravening an apprehended violence order at Sutherland Local Court on Monday and the matter was adjourned for sentence on November 11.

Her barrister Geoff Harrison told Magistrate Scott Nash the victim had called Moody first, then booked her an Uber to come back to his place at 4.30am.

Moody will now have to report to police three times a week in exchange for the elimination of her curfew.
