Jamal Eljaidi, 32, pleaded not guilty to one count of prohibited drug possession on January 29 in Narwee after police allegedly found him with an amount of Stanozolol, an anabolic steroid.

The Belmore man was charged with murder in March after police alleged he drove the getaway car from the scene where former Comanchero bikie boss Mick Hawi was fatally sprayed with bullets at Fitness First in Rockdale in February 2018.
Eljaidi was originally expected to attend his court appearance in person after the Supreme Court granted him bail on October 1 with conditions akin to house arrest.
However, he remains behind bars after The Daily Telegraph revealed the mysterious benefactor who stumped up $1 million in cash for Eljaidi’s bail was before the courts himself.
Former smash repairs shop owner Bradd Ring, 46, had spent a night in custody himself just weeks earlier after police charged him with possessing three stolen motorbikes in Ramsgate.

Eljaidi has pleaded not guilty to prohibited drug supply and drug driving and will face a summary hearing at Burwood Local Court on October 29.
