An accused drug dealer has temporarily blown his chance at liberty after he was charged with busting into a storage cage and stealing four suitcases with his girlfriend while he was on bail.

Ciaran Feehan, 37, was granted bail in 2018 after he was charged with two counts of indictable prohibited drug supply, prohibited drug possession and dealing with the proceeds of crime as well as possessing allegedly stolen goods.

His partner Jessica Wood was also charged with indictable drug supply related to the same allegations and sentenced to a two-year community corrections order and a $2000 fine by Magistrate Peter Bugden at Sutherland Local Court in July 2019.

Jessica Wood was convicted for drug supply in July last year.

The Gymea man was to face a hearing at Sutherland Local Court on September 2 over the charges but he was arrested alongside Wood on April 14 and both were charged with an aggravated break, enter and steal in Miranda.

Police allege Feehan and Wood broke into a storage cage at a Miranda property and stole four suitcases belonging to a male resident between 8.30pm and 9pm on April 3.

His Legal Aid solicitor Mary Underwood did not apply for his bail at Central Local Court on April 15 and it was formally refused by Magistrate Margaret Quinn.

Wood was then taken into custody on Wednesday after allegedly breaching her bail residence and reporting conditions, two weeks after she was charged over the new allegations.

She was granted bail by Magistrate Philip Stewart at Central Local Court to face Sutherland Local Court on June 11.

She will be required to observe a curfew between 8pm and 7am and must notify the court and officer in charge of her case of any change of address within 12 hours.

Feehan had appeared before the registrar at Sutherland Local Court on yet another unrelated matter only the day before he was taken into custody after he was charged earlier this year with dishonestly obtaining a financial advantage.

He will appear at Sutherland Local Court on May 4 via audiovisual link to apply for bail before he will be required to enter pleas to the alleged fraud matter on May 12 at the same court.
