The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks are sitting in fourth spot on the NRL premiership ladder but when they run onto the football pitch each week they are cheered on by their biggest supporters.
Those could be the diehard fans, sporting staff, massive crowds but it is always their family, wives, girlfriends and children who cheer the loudest and are by their side.
From new and fresh romances to high school sweethearts, here are the wives and girlfriends behind the boys from the Sharks.
WILL KENNEDY and GRACE MCDONALD
The couple are about to welcome their first baby into the world in just a number of days.
The engaged couple are gearing up for sleepless nights and a whole lot of love as they no doubt look forward to meeting their baby girl.
Kennedy posted the pair’s first photo together at Cronulla restaurant Sealevel in June 2020.
WADE GRAHAM and KARIANNE LAFRANCE
Sharks skipper Wade Graham has been with his partner Karianne Lafrance for more than five years. Ms Lafrance is a French Canadian artist and the pair met while Ms Lafrance was travelling the world after graduating from university. The couple share two children.
Ms Lafrance makes resin homeware and wall arts.
The young boys feature heavily on Graham’s Instagram as he shares moments from his family life.
SIONE KATOA and TAUFA KOTOA
The winger is married to Taufa and the couple share two adorable girls together. Taufa first shared photos of her relationship with Kotoa in 2017 before they married. They have been together for much longer. She had their two daughters Keziah and Everly.
Katoa is a keen fisherman and loves the ocean and diving, while also being a personal trainer with his brother.
In March, Katoa and his daughter posed for a photo as they celebrated his 50th match.
JESSE RAMIEN and SHELL GIBBS
Jesse Ramien and Shell Gibbs have posed together for many photos that have been posted to both their Instagram pages. Ramien also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
The loved up couple have tributes to each other including “appreciate and love you endlessly” and “I am absolutely obsessed with the life we are building together”.
MATT IKUVALU AND ALYCE RALPH
Matt Ikuvalu proposed to his long-term girlfriend and the mother of his child Harvey just over two months ago. Their child was born in January last year.
Ikuvalu proposed to Alyce on her birthday with him commenting, “well overdue! I’ll love you forever”.
Their son Harvey along with many happy snaps of them feature heavily on the loved-up couple’s Instagram pages.
DALE FINUCANE and MADDELYN FINUCANE
The couple have been married for more than three years and share two young boys together.
Recently on Mother’s Day, Finucane wrote, “she’s not a regular mum, she’s a cool mum” and posted a cute picture of his wife and two children.
On their anniversary last year, he said in a caption “just a boy standing in front of a girl asking her to love him”.
BRITON NIKORA and SHARMAINE SLOUGH
The couple have been together for at least six years and share two children together.
Tatum Nikora was born in August 2020 and Beckham Waitere Nikora was born on December 21 last year.
The couple, particularly Sharmaine, love to show of their lives and their growing boys, with many candid snaps posted on Instagram.
Ms Slough is the owner and founder of All Eyes On Me Beauty Lounge in Caringbah.
CAMERON MCINNES and RACHEL MAHE
The couple share two children together. They keep their lives private, as is Rachel’s Instagram account. Cam has not posted a photo of himself and Rachel together on his account.
However Cam did post a Happy Mother’s Day message which said “Noa and Mia are so lucky to have you. I love you and thank you for everything”.
Cam also opened up in April about his son being diagnosed with autism on Autism Awareness Day. Cam said, in a post, “it has been an amazing journey for us as a family learning and understanding about autism” before encouraging people to treat people with autism and everyone in general, with “kindness, patience and celebrate each other’s difference”.
CONNOR TRACEY and HANNAH GOBRAN
Connor Tracey’s long-term girlfriend of more than six years is University of Wollongong graduate and market analyst Hannah Gobran.
The pair have previously shared happy snaps of their international travels and own a dog named Ziggy together.
