It goes for a massive 12 days and boast some of the biggest names in world athletics.

Athletes from under 14s to the open and elite are competing at the 2022 Australian track and field championships from March 25 to April 3 at Sydney Olympic Park.

From sprints to hurdles, shot put to long jump and high jump and some fabulous action in the relays, there’s been action aplenty each day of the meet.

NSW teenagers have been some of the stars of the meet early and photographer Julian Andrews has been at the championship from day dot to capture some awesome images - including a big series of crashes in the steeple chase racing.
