Holly’s proud coach Damian Ryan said the 13-year-old has a promising future.
“Holly has an exciting future in the sport of trampoline gymnastics and I look forward to seeing her continue to set and achieve her goals,” Ryan said.
“Holly had a very successful year in 2015 including gold at the Australian Championships.
“In 2016 Holly is moving into international stream events and will compete against the best youth athletes aged 11-14 years across Australia.
“It will also allow Holly trial for selection into her first Australian team and she will be trialling for selection into the Australian team to compete at the Indo-Pacific Championships later this year.”
Holly, who was the 2015 female sportswomen of the year award at The Ponds High School, said winning the award was a massive boost for her.
“I was very excited and proud to receive this award because it shows me that all my training and hard work has paid off.
“This year I have moved up to compete in youth international stream and I am looking forward to competing at the state championships in April.
“I hope I can qualify and represent NSW at the Australian championships as this will be my third year.
“For me winning these awards is a great honour and achievement and encourages me to try my best.”
