AN INDOOR beach, rock climbing wall, discovery nature trail and meals prepared by a celebrity chef.

It may sound like a holiday camp for the rich and famous but it is in fact Randwick’s newest childcare centre.

Paisley Park, on Belmore Rd, is a centre like no other and will open later this month.

The centre’s ethos is all about play-based experimental learning.

As well as the aforementioned there will be a camping ground, mud pit, fish ponds, vegie gardens and a kabana style, open-air kitchen where the chefs cook up a storm for the little ones.

Miguel Maestre, best known for TV shows Miguel’s Feast, Miguel’s Tropical Kitchen and The Living Room, has teamed up with the centre to design the meals. Among the items on the menu include beetroot bread rolls, healthy zucchini burgers, lamb gozleme, sushi, bolognese of mushroom meatballs and chocolate avocado mousse.

Centre co-founder Kat Wieczorek-Ghisso said the indoor centre would enable youngsters to engage in real life experiences which will contribute to their learning.

“Paisley Park Randwick is a magical wonderland where children can push boundaries, be challenged and achieve anything imaginable,” Ms Wieczorek-Ghisso said.
