After allegedly assaulting and causing harm to at least one person, police were called to the property about 10:40pm an apprehended Zakarya who then resisted their efforts of arresting him, resulting in a further charge being laid.

It is alleged Zakaryas’ unwillingness to co-operate with police caused his co-accused to behave in a similar manner and hinder police’s ability to execute their duty.

He was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged.

Zakarya will be arraigned on November 18 at Parramatta District Court.
