The landmark transformation of the Panthers Precinct into a state-of-the-art business and entertainment destination continue to take shape, as Panthers Group inks a deal with Accor Hotels to welcome the Pullman Hotel Penrith.
The five-star hotel slated to open late next year will have 153-rooms and be adjoined to the Western Sydney Conference Centre, also slated for a 2024 finish.
The hotel will service guests of the convention centre which is expected to host trade shows, exhibitions, seated functions for up to 1000 people, along with other major events.
It is the latest piece of news signalling Penrith’s tourism boom, with an influx of visitors expected in coming years due to the arrival the hotly anticipated Western Sydney Airport – just 30 minutes away.
Accor Pacific chief executive officer Sarah Derry described western Sydney as “the engine room of Sydney”.
“Pullman Sydney Penrith will offer leisure and business travellers memorable guest experiences and superb facilities and, once open, this hotel will quickly become the leading accommodation choice in Penrith,” she said.
