Fourth Ave, Llandilo: Two men hospitalised after Holden Torana crashes into tree

A 47-year old man driving a Holden Torana and his 25-year old passenger have been desperately transported to hospital with serious head injuries after crashing into a tree.

Two men have been transported to hospital with serious head injuries after crashing into a tree in Sydney’s western suburbs.

Witnesses told police the men were driving a Holden Torana along Fourth Ave, Llandilo, towards the intersection of The Northern Rd, when they went off road, crashing into the tree, about 7pm on Sunday.

Fellow drivers stopped to render assistance before officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance arrived.

The 47-year old male driver sustained serious head, chest and leg injuries, according to police, while the 25-year old male passenger sustained serious head injuries.

Both men were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.

Police established a crime scene as specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A police spokeswoman confirmed the two men were still in a serious condition in hospital.
