A drunk man terrorised customers at Penrith’s Krispy Kreme outlet before hanging onto a woman’s car door as she tried to drive away.

David Chol Ker, 26, clung on to the store worker’s car for about 50m and bashed on the side of the window before eventually being forced off.

Penrith Local Court heard the incident played out on January 3 around 11:30pm.

Two friends, one in a ute, had just parked up when Ker jumped onto the ute’s tray, and started jumping up and down.

He then jumped onto the other friend’s car roof, damaging the roof panel.

Court documents say he jumped off the woman’s car and started acting aggressively towards her and her group of friends.

At this time, a Krispy Kreme worker finished her shift and headed towards her own car.

After noticing the commotion she locked her doors.

As she tried to leave Ker grabbed hold of the door handle and violently pulled on it, shouting at the women “why are you f**** lying, c**t?”.

She tried to drive off but he clung on for around 50m while continuously bashing on the window until she reached the McDonalds drive-through exit.

He finally let go and made his way back to the Krispy Kreme car park.

Police arrived a short time later and Ker approached officers and removed his shirt.

He was arrested and placed in the back of a police van.

Ker was so drunk he was unable to be interviewed, the court heard.

In court, Ker claimed it was a case of misidentification and police had the wrong person.

He entered pleas of not guilty to all offences.

However Magistrate James Gibson found him guilty of one count of stalking and intimidation and two counts of damaging property.

Magistrate Gibson sentenced him to an aggregate term of imprisonment of seven months to commence on October 13 with a non-parole period of one month.

Magistrate Gibson said he took into account special circumstances for drug and alcohol and mental health assessment.
