It is alleged by police that Coxshall, who was employed as a maintenance worker on the property, discovered the cannabis crop after it was abandoned in September 2020 and continued cultivating the plants.

Drug and Firearms squad detectives seized and destroyed the East Kurrajong crop as part of Strike Force Harthouse, which was established in 2019 to investigate the cultivation and supply of cannabis across NSW.

Detectives executed a search warrant at the property in October 2020, where they seized more than 3,000 cannabis plants worth an estimated $9.1 million, which have since been destroyed.

Investigations under Strike Force Harthouse continue.

He will appear in front of court again in early December.
