The Sydney train that became the Musical Express
Commuters who caught the train between Lidcombe and Sydney Olympic Park were serenaded this morning when a pair of musicians jumped on board.
Commuters catching the train between Lidcombe and Sydney Olympic Park were treated to a free concert this morning.
Their regular commute was upgraded from a normal train ride to a Musical Express complete with two musicians serenading passengers.
Commuters clapped, danced, filmed as the musicians played in the train and along the platform.
For those that missed out this morning, the performers will return for the afternoon peak, playing from 3.30pm until 5.30pm.
The musical train ride is part of Make Music Day, held annually on June 21 and organised by The City of Parramatta and the Sydney Olympic Park Authority in partnership with Sydney Trains.
Along with the Musical Express, free concerts will be held in Centenary Square in Parramatta and Jacaranda Square in Sydney Olympic Park.
