South Granville: CCTV images released after July stabbing

Police have released CCTV images of a man they hope can assist with the investigation of a South Granville stabbing.

CCTV images have been released in an effort to help identify a man who stabbed a teenager at South Granville in July.

Cumberland police were called to a home on Boronia St about 9.20am on July 11 and found an 18-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his upper body.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

Police said his condition was no longer life threatening but he continued to recover in hospital.

Cumberland detectives have taken carriage of the investigation and have now released vision of a man who they believe can help with their inquiries.

He is described as being caucasian in appearance, with a thin build and at the time was wearing black pants with reflective stripes on the knee with a black hooded jumper.
