Police are appealing for information on a daylight brawl in the middle of a busy intersection at Auburn.

A man and a woman have been captured on camera — mobile and CCTV — having a heated bust up on a roundabout at the corner of Cumberland Rd and Mona St.

The incident occurred at 2.30pm yesterday, where the female motorist was seen mounting and cutting across a roundabout in a black hatchback to stop a male driver’s ute in its tracks.

Footage then shows the agitated woman wrenching the second driver from his vehicle before making a few hard blows to his face and stomach.

The man was seen kicking and punching the attacker back, before a second individual — a passenger in the hatchback — became involved.

The pair were then seen yelling, restraining and blocking the male driver from exiting his vehicle.

Acting Inspector Karl Leis, who confirmed neither person involved had made a formal complain about the incident, said Auburn police will be looking into the matter.

“This is totally unacceptable behaviour and we will not tolerate it,” he said.

“Come forward and speak to us before we come knocking on your door.”
