Greystanes home targeted in drive-by shooting
A black motorcycle is believed to be involved in a drive by shooting in a western Sydney street, which police are calling a targeted attack.
An investigation is underway following a public place shooting in Sydney’s west yesterday.
Police attended a home on Hillary St, Greystanes, just after 4pm on Sunday, February 3, after police were called to a possible drive-by shooting.
Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene after damage and a number of bullets were found inside the home, which have been taken for forensic examination.
No one was home at the time and no injuries have been reported to police.
Police have been told a black motorcycle was last seen driving southbound, heading towards Merrylands CBD following the incident.
While inquiries continue, initial investigations suggest the shooting may be targeted.
