Maureen Chedid arrested after police raid home as part of investigation into alleged Ibrahem Hamze murder plot
A woman accused of attacking two cops while they raided her western Sydney home as part of an investigation into an alleged foiled murder plot to kill Ibrahem Hamze will fight the charges.

Maureen Chedid will fight charges of hindering police after they raided her South Wentworthville house while investigating the alleged foiled Ibrahem Hamze murder plot in September.
Cops were at the property to arrest a 19-year-old man for allegedly storing a stolen car that criminal networks across Sydney used in an alleged carjacking and conspiracy to murder Mr Hamze — the younger brother of slain gangster Bilal Hamze — at North Sydney on Saturday August 14.
Police allege two masked men were forced to flee the scene when police identified the Mercedes they drove as being stolen and displaying cloned numberplates.
The men allegedly drove to Miller St, Cammeray, where they allegedly assaulted and carjacked a 76-year-old man, stealing his Toyota Camry.
The following day, specialist forensic officers examined a garage at nearby Morden St, Cammeray, and Strike Force Gillwinga detectives allegedly uncovered a criminal syndicate involved in the subletting of garages, which police allege were used to store stolen motor vehicles used in illicit activities.
So far during the investigation, police have charged a 31-year-old Granville man Samuel John Rokomaqisa.
He was charged with conspire and agree to murder, and other offences including being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, police pursuit and armed robbery in company. He remains before the courts.
Following further inquiries, detectives searched the home at South Wentworthville on the morning of September 29 where they seized a machete, electronic devices and documentation that will undergo further forensic examination.
A 19-year-old man was arrested and taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment to a head injury.
Ms Chedid, 45, was arrested and taken to Parramatta police station where she was charged with two counts of resist or hinder police officer in the execution of duty.
She was later taken to Westmead Hospital for further assessment.
Two Raptor Squad male senior constables were treated at the scene for hand injuries, while a third male constable was treated for an injury to his leg.
That evening, the teenager was released from hospital and taken to Granville police station, where he was charged with seven offences including three counts of knowingly facilitate organised car rebirthing activity, deal with identity info to commit etc indictable offence, assault officer in execution of duty, resist or hinder police officer in the execution of duty, and
participate in criminal group contribute criminal activity.
Police will allege in court that the man leased the Cammeray garage, which housed stolen vehicles used in the attempted murder of Mr Hamze.
They also allege the man used a fraudulent identity to rent other garages in Westmead and Parramatta.
He was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Court on September 30 and remains before the courts.
Ms Chedid was granted bail to face Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
She was excused from appearing but an email was sent stating she intended to plead not guilty to two counts of resist or hinder police officer in the execution of duty.
The matter was adjourned to January 12.
