Granville, Auburn: Man accused of stealing toilet paper arrested
A 30-year-old man has been arrested and another remains on the run after an alleged knifepoint toilet paper robbery across several western Sydney supermarkets.

A man has been arrested and one remains on the run after they allegedly threatened a supermarket employee with a knife after stealing hundreds of toilet paper roles at supermarkets in Granville, Auburn, Lidcombe and Bass Hill on March 22.
The men allegedly accessed the stores’ restricted storage areas on Sunday between 7pm and 8.30pm.
The pair targeted toilet paper and allegedly stole the roll haul from the Granville and Auburn stores but left empty-handed from the stores in Bass Hill and Lidcombe.
It was also reported that one of the men threatened an employee with a knife at the Auburn store.
Following extensive inquiries, which included an appeal to the community for information, investigators arrested the man during a vehicle stop on Vaughan St, Lidcombe, just before 2pm on Friday.
He has since been taken to Auburn police station.
Investigations are continuing.
