Multiple businesses across the Cumberland and Parramatta council areas have been named and shamed on the NSW Food Authority register for breaching hygiene and safety standards.

The new offences were recorded between October and April, mostly in the Cumberland area.

At Auburn, Wok King Noodle House was slapped with three fines worth $2640 in March after it failed to eradicate pests, maintain clean equipment and properly store food. It had repeated the offence for each breach.

Big Bite Charcoal Chicken at Auburn Rd was busted for failing to display potentially hazardous food at the right temperature, not providing soap and paper towels near the sink and having dirty equipment and fixtures in November. The business had been warned previously for each offence and was fined $1320.

The Himalayan Fusion Cafe at Rawson St copped an $880 fine in November for failing to maintain clean equipment (previous warnings given).

Crystal Seafood Carlingford was fined twice in February for failing to have accessible hand washing facilities and dirty equipment despite already being warned about the offence, putting it $1760 out of pocket.

Granville Kebab House at South St was fined $1320 for having dirty premises in January and October (previous warning given) and failing to display food at the right temperature.

At Lidcombe, the Leaf and Co was $880 out of pocket in November when inspectors found dirty equipment, an offence it was busted on previously.

However, the Old Prospect Rd eatery has since shut and a new restaurant with different owners will soon open there.
