A Rosehill brick layer has faced court over an alleged assault on two sex workers in western Sydney earlier this year.
Bostan Ali Rezaie, 34, appeared via video link to Parramatta Local Court facing two separate charges of assault occasioning bodily harm.
Court documents state the alleged assaults occurred on the evening of March 3 at Rosehill.
Rezaie is alleged to have attacked both of the women causing each of them bodily harm, with the court hearing the alleged victims were “sex workers” understood to be originally from Asia.
The court heard the 34-year-old had no prior criminal history and had only recently started working as a bricklayer in the last three months.
He was granted bail with his lawyer requesting his conditions allow him to travel interstate for his work commitments.
The matter was adjourned and will return to Parramatta Local Court on February 1.
