Two more schools evacuated due to threats, parents told to stay calm

Mackellar Girls Campus at Manly Vale and Maria Regina Primary School in Avalon have both been evacuated due to a threat.

Mackellar Girls Campus at Manly Vale and Maria Regina Primary School in Avalon have both been evacuated due to a threat.

There are a number of police in attendance.

Police ask that parents do not attend the school as procedures are being followed.

Police are working with the principals and staff to ensure the process runs smoothly and all students are safe.

At the completion of police inquires children will be returned to the school for the usual school pick up time.

NSW Police said there is clearly a pattern of hoax calls designed to cause disruption and attract media attention, that there is no credible evidence they could be carried out here.
