SHE’S already got Angelina Jolie behind her campaign to save womens’ lives from cancer.
And now a pair of supermodel mates have backed North Manly mum Krystal Barter’s charity, Pink Hope.
Supermodel pals Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lily Aldridge did a glam photo shoot to promote Mrs Barter’s charity and its Pinky Promise campaign.
As well as featuring on the front of Elle Australia magazine’s June issue, which is out now, the story behind the shoot will be on Channel Nine’s 60 Minutes on Sunday.
It’s just the latest brush with celebrity for the mum of three, who chatted with Angelina Jolie at the Sydney premiere of Unbroken in 2014 and has also got everybody from singer Samantha Jade to actor Whitney Port on board, supporting her cause.
Like Mrs Barter, Jolie has had her breasts and ovaries removed after learning she had the cancer-causing gene.
Mrs Barter went to LA for the shoot, arranged by Elle’s editor Justine Cullen — and the shots were taken by supermodel snapper Simon Upton from Bilgola Plateau.
“I’ve met lots of people in my time, and they gave everything,” she said.
“Rosie’s obviously greatly devoted to the cause and Lily recently lost a friend to cancer.
“They had a guy who was making omlettes on set, and they ate everything. They were super chilled.”
After the shoot the pair were rushing off to meet their pal “Taylor”, who Mrs Barter later discovered was pop princess Taylor Swift, much to the delight of her six-year-old daughter Bonnie.
“She’s obsessed with her — even that I was in the same room as her friends, she’s obsessed.”
But Mrs Barter said she’s not going to be pestering Swift to get on board too.
“I’m pretty happy with how far Pink Hope has come,” she said.
The latest initiative encourages women to make promises with their friends to make health a priority.
Pals should pledge at pinkypromise.com.au and on social media using #BFFpinkypromise.
And while Barter’s a regular in the spotlight, she’s pledging with her best friend of years personal trainer Erin Whitbread from Cromer, who she’s known since high school.
