Ricci Guarnaccio from Geordie Shore has a surfing lesson on Manly beach

Geordie Shore hunk Ricci Guarnaccio has moved to Sydney. And in preparation for Aussie life, The Manly Daily arranged for the reality star to have a surfing lesson.

Hunky Geordie Shore star Ricci Guarnaccio has moved to Sydney.

And in preparation for Aussie life, The Manly Daily arranged for the reality star to have his first ever surfing lesson.

While admitting he was “terrified” of sharks, Guarnaccio, who has also appeared on the British version of Celebrity Big Brother, managed to stand up on his board thanks to instructors from Manly Surf School.

‘It was unreal” he told the Manly Daily.

He said he’s now keen to buy his own board, and can’t wait to settle down here.

“I’ve toured here five times but it’s always been in winter,” he told the Manly Daily.

“I’ve loved it every time. Everyone's genuinely really nice.

“I’m buzzing about it.”

Guarnaccio said he has TV and radio projects in the pipeline “between Sydney, the Gold Coast and New Zealand.”

Meanwhile, Ricci’s ex Vikki Pattison is also Down Under, preparing to appear on the British version of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here which is underway in Queensland.

Ricci, who was in the British press this week claming she’d broken his nose with her handbag, said she’s sure to make an impact on the show, made close to the Gold Coast.

But he said he won’t be watching.

“I couldn’t care less,” he said.

“She can’t hold her tongue.

“I don’t hate the girl, I feel sorry for her.”

Geordie Shore cast members are regulars in Australia. Scott, Vicky, Kate Peck from MTV, with Charlotte and James from the show.

As well as partying at tonight’s Hunger: Games Mockingjay premiere, he told the Manly Daily he hopes to meet up with fitness model David Mitchell, British model Kelly Brook’s ex boyfriend, who has also moved to Sydney.

The British TV show filmed a series in Coogee a few years ago.
