Premier Mike Baird took presidential honours on the weekend, throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the Junior baseball league grand final.

Premier Mike Baird took presidential honours on the weekend, throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the Junior baseball league grand final.

This was not the first time pitching a ball for Mr Baird, who played the sport as a teenager and at university.

The Premier’s pitch was followed by the singing of the Australian anthem a cappella – just like our neighbours in the US.
