Police seek witnesses to Dee Why break-in

POLICE are seeking witnesses to the break-in of a unit in Pacific Pde at Dee Why about 1.40am on Friday last week.

POLICE are seeking witnesses to the break-in of a unit in Pacific Pde at Dee Why about 1.40am on Friday last week.

Northern Beaches crime manager Insp Craig Wonders said that at 1.40am, a man knocked on the door of the unit in Pacific Pde.

He said the man was known to the occupants of the unit, who refused him entry.

The man left but allegedly returned soon after by climbing on to a balcony and entering the unit through an unlocked window.

Once inside the unit, the man allegedly stole a number of items before leaving.

The police want to speak to anyone who saw the man climbing on to the balcony of a unit of leaving the same way.
