Cyclist injured in collision with car, taken to hospital in stable condition

A CYCLIST in his 20s is in a stable condition in hospital after he was involved in a collision with a car in Terrey Hills this afternoon.

A CYCLIST in his 20s is in a stable condition in hospital after he was involved in a collision with a car in Terrey Hills this afternoon.

The male cyclist was cycling along McCarrs Creek road when he was struck by a vehicle shortly after 1pm.

He suffered multiple injuries, including suspected leg and wrist fractures.

CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter landed at Terrey Hills playing fields about 300m from the scene and were met by police, who took the medical crew to the patient.

The man was treated on the scene before being transported by road by ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
