Apartments, childcare centre and plaza plans lodged for Dee Why Town Centre revamp

A total of 357 apartments, a childcare centre with 130 places, as well as commercial space for shops, cafes and offices will be part of the $133 million plan across two towers up to 17 storeys high.
Work is already underway on the first part of Meriton’s Dee Why Town Centre buildings.
Images have also been revealed of what the buildings, on Pittwater Road, Howard Avenue and Oaks Avenue, as well as a new public plaza, will look like.
The firm said the development will “significantly enhance” the area. A Warringah Council spokeswoman, said: “The DA can be viewed on council’s website and public submission will be open in February.”
