MOSMAN Daily two-time Young Sporting Spirit award-winner Thomas Davies has pushed his sporting skills to new levels since his second win in 2014.
Davies won the award twice under its former name, the Young Achiever, for his running and skipping expertise.
The range of sports showcased through the Junior Sports Star awards, however, motivated him to try different sports.
Davies now competes in triathlon and also enjoys mountain-biking.
He no longer skips competitively but likes skipping for fitness and is still a middle distance runner breaking his personal bests.
Davies encourages nominees to train hard, show passion and commitment and to stay positive despite the “ups and downs”.
His personal motto is “a refusal to fail”.
Fox Sports Pulse and Simonds Homes are also sponsors.
