SWIMMERS of all ages and abilities will take to the waters of Sydney Harbour for the annual Balmoral Swim on Sunday.
The event raises money for the Children’s Cancer Institute.
The swim is 25 years old and has raised more than $650,000 for charity so far.
Races include the schools and corporate challenges, as well as a 250m junior swim and 1km harbour swim.
Director Peter Ellis said the volunteer-run community event was a great opportunity for people to support the cancer institute and its valuable work in caring for children.
“The momentum for the school challenge has really grown,” he said.
“It’s a wonderful event where children enjoy doing something for others.”
The Balmoral Swim starts at 8.30am with the schools relay. Details: balmoralswim.com.au
