Sydney NYE fireworks tickets still available for $550 a head dinner
SYDNEY New Year’s Eve fireworks tickets which cost $600 per person (including children from 4 years old) have sold out at Taronga Zoo, but there are still tickets to the $550 a head dinner for sale.
POPULAR lower north shore sites for viewing the famous Sydney Harbour New Year’s Eve fireworks have already sold out, but there is still a range of options available.
Tickets for Taronga Zoo’s coveted outdoor picnic style venues have all been exhausted; even the “Diamond” reserve tickets on the harbour view lawns which cost $600 per person.
But, for those seeking a more comfortable viewing location, the Taronga Centre Harbourview Ballroom will host a New Year’s Eve dinner as an alternative.
There were still “Electric Forest” tickets for sale as of early this week, for $550 a head, for those wishing to ring in the new year in style.
Delicious morsels on offer include Dijon-crusted Tasmanian salmon, spicy crab croquette with sweet pea and watercress mayonnaise, and Port Lincoln kingfish with beetroot and vodka-cured salmon and seaweed.
For a party to beat all parties, however, Taronga Zoo is offering to host private parties featuring your own exclusive area with amazing views of the spectacular fireworks, a private bar, parking and animal encounters.
All proceeds from Taronga’s ticket sales support its conservation work.
Elsewhere in Mosman, the National Parks and Wildlife Service sites still available as of early this week, were: Bradleys Head Mast Precinct ($17.43 to $48.73 per person), and Bradleys Head Athol Lawn ($17.43 to $33.44 per person).
The North Sydney municipality is equally popular, with tens of thousands of revellers visiting to see the fireworks.
Top spots include Cremorne Point, Mary Booth Reserve, Bradfield Park and Blues Point Reserve (all have free entry).
