A young Mid-North Coast man is yet to enter a plea in relation to allegations he used “unlawful violence” against another person.
Jamison Richard Jansen is from the coastal area of Stuarts Point in Nambucca Heads.
He appeared in Macksville Local Court on Thursday where the matter was briefly raised.
Court documents show the 22-year-old has been charged with affray and that the alleged incident occurred some time between 11pm on April 11 and 12.01 on April 12 at Nambucca Heads.
Jansen is alleged to have used what court documents describe as “unlawful violence” towards the person.
It was heard in court on Thursday that there was a co-accused in the matter with the police prosecutor telling the magistrate it would be a good idea to list their matters on separate days.
Magistrate Julia Virgo adjourned the case to June 19.
