The game will launch in February, but suggestions on what should go on the board have been thrown open to northern beaches residents, including choosing the best beaches.

Winning Moves, manufacturers of the official northern beaches version of Monopoly under license from Hasbro, say the game will be sold through exclusive local businesses.
Dale Hackett, from Winning Moves, who has just moved to Brookvale from Penrith, said anything and everything is up for consideration from Narrabeen Beach and Barrenjoey Lighthouse to Manly Corso and Scotland Island.
“This will be a game for northern beaches people, not tourists,” he said.
“We want it to represent what residents love about where they live.”
The company is looking for suggestions for best beaches, sports, natural attractions and iconic spots.
Mr Hackett recognised that some people may be disappointed with the choices, especially when it comes to best beaches, as they’re so many to choose from.
“We will be holding a few polls on our Facebook page so people will be able to vote,” he said.
“Unfortunately, not everyone will be happy with the results.”
Another controversial selection will be most iconic sites.
Mr Hackett said there had been several people suggesting the Hotel Steyne already.
People are being asked to share their ideas on the Northern Beaches Monopoly Facebook page or by email.
