COMEDIAN Cameron Knight says it can get depressing visiting amazing homes as part of his new show, Unreal Estate.
Knight, who will co-host the show with fellow comedian Kate Langbroek, even had to jump in his car to find some “space” for the interview with #beachlife.
But, while he lives in a small Coogee apartment with his wife, a toddler and a new baby, nothing could be as bad as some of his student digs.
One in Melbourne’s Hawthorn especially stands out.
“The floor and skirting board had given way so you could see outside,” he said. “We never mowed the lawn and the lawn started growing into my room. And it was bitterly cold in winter.
“And I lived in a share house with eight people — there was only one bathroom”.
Northern beaches homes featured on the show include the “spaceship” house near The Spit and Jamie Durie’s former house at Avalon.
Details: Starts September 27 on Nine.
