The driver accused of killing a 81-year-old woman in a fatal pedestrian collision on the Camden Valley Way, Narellan has denied the allegation she was driving dangerously.
Zenaida Dimarucut, 60, pleaded not guilty to the charge of dangerous driving occasioning death at Picton Local Court on Tuesday.
The Carnes Hill woman is alleged to have collided with the pedestrian on the busy road about 1.20pm on May 9 last year. She stopped and provided assistance to the 81-year-old woman who was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition, where she later died.
Dimarucut has been committed to stand trial in the Campbelltown District Court and will be arraigned on March 5.
She is also facing a back up charge of negligent driving occasioning death.
