AUSTRALIA’S most desired man set the hearts of Camden women aflutter when he visited local go kart business Ultimate Karting Sydney recently, which will feature on Channel 10 series The Bachelor tonight.
The Smeaton Grange business is no stranger to the limelight, with US reality TV star Khloe Kardashian visiting its attached cafe Juicy Goose earlier this month. Last year, Channel 7’s Sunrise crossed over six times to the racetrack throughout its morning show.
“The Bachelor was shot about five months ago but we had to stay tight-lipped until now,” co-owner Christian Muller said.
“They had a massive crew, probably about 40-45 people. It was chaos in there.”
The bachelor featured on the show, Bachie Wood, was watching around eight contestants vying for his heart, showing their prowess behind the wheel on the racetrack.
The Macarthur Chronicle has heard two of the contestants indulged in some push and shove to win the race and earn some one-on-one time with the reality star.
The Bachelor also visited the Australian Botanic Garden, Mt Annan last year, much to the delight of his legion of local fans.
Mr Muller said the track was closed to the public for eight hours to allow for both setup and filming for the episode.
“We had only just opened up Juicy Goose at that point and we kept it open throughout the time they were filming,” he said.
Mr Muller said staff were eager to see the racetrack on the television.
“We’re all really excited to see what they do with it,” he said.
The Bachelor will air at 7.30pm.
