Second six-storey office building proposed for Oran Park

Oran Park continues to reach new heights with a second six-storey commercial building proposed for the heart of growing suburb.
Greenfields Development Company last month proposed a sister commercial building, neighbouring the under construction TRN House, to be located opposite Oran Park Podium.
The building would stand at 28.85m, have a three level basement carpark and house more than 850 workers.
Greenfields Development Company director Mark Perich said the site’s proximity to the under construction Western Sydney Airport and Aerotropolis has boosted demand.
“The demand for the first commercial building, TRN House, has exceeded our expectations and we need to get some more office space going so we have proposed the second commercial building which would be about 12 months behind the first,” he said.
“We expected the town of Oran Park would be popular to existing and new businesses in the region because the whole area is growing rapidly.
“With the construction of the new airport and the future Aerotropolis underway it puts Oran Park in the box seat for commercial development.”
The Chronicle understands about 70 per cent of TRN House’s commercial space has been allocated, with lawyers, builders, accountants and medical businesses set to move in when completed.
A medical imaging business is expected to operate out of the entire ground floor of TRN House.
The two office buildings would about 100m away from the proposed site of the future Oran Park train station.
Mr Perich said this was only the beginning of Oran Park’s emergence as a leading commercial hub with the two buildings only taking up 10 per cent of the expected total office space in the suburb.
The proposed building will be assessed by the Western Sydney City Joint Regional Planning Panel.
